Dismal weather conditions kept numbers down and walkers away from this weeks 5k run. 46 brave runners took part in the 3 lap course.
First across the line was Peter Evans (17:44) followed by Ian Cornthwaite (18:01), Kathryn Ewels (18:44), Richard Comber (18:58) and Kevin Piercy (19:17). It's great to see Kathryn crossing the line in 3rd place overall, well done Kathryn!
Amongst the women Kathryn was first followed by Kylie Murray (21:15), Sandra Timmer-Arends (22:19) and Jenny Northe (22:22).
In the handicap race this week first place went to Todd Toughton (24:19) then Jenny Comber (31:30), Kim Essex (23:36) and Ross Jones (28:30).
Natalie Comber and Corey MacKenzie completed 2 laps of the course.
Next week’s run is the Rangeview Drive 5k course; assemble at the clubrooms for a 5:50pm start. All welcome.
